Block Prints

The art of block printing has always resonated with me. The process of cutting away and leaving only parts of the block to reveal an image is exciting because I’m never exactly sure what image will reveal itself. For this reason, to me, block printing is the perfect art form for representing nature.

Each Block Print is carved and inked by hand. Every piece is printed on my small press. I use recycled cotton paper along with vegetable oil-based, non-toxic inks. Because they are hand-printed, there is some variability in the color and the way each print turns out. It usually takes about a week to get them shipped to you.
